So, instead of just cooking Arctic cuisine for you, we’ll teach you how to cook them for your friends and family back home! We’ll be using some ingredients grown right in our Polar Garden for an even more unique experience.
Benjamin Vidmar, the founder of Polar Permaculture, will be with you from getting some of the ingredients at the local shop all the way to answering questions you may have as we eat the food that we just cooked. He is a longtime chef and longtime resident of Svalbard and holds a vast amount of knowledge regarding the area, cooking, and of course, Permaculture. Also, after purchasing the food from the Butikken, he will walk with you up to our kitchen and give you a short tour of the town along the way.
